With the strawberry season now over we are going on to other crops. We have these items available now:
Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Greenbeans
Raspberries (small quantities for now)
Watermelon
Muskmelon
Blueberries (Michigan)
Peaches (Missiouri) These will be in on Tuesday the 29th of July.
Sweet corn will be ready by the middle of the week.

Come on out we are open Monday through Saturday form 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The strawberries are coming and they have come through the wet spring supprisingly well. There are a lot of berries on the plants. We are filling phone in orders and we will be open for the public on Thursday the nineteenth. Yes, you can come and pick your own or we will pick them for you. Our hours are 6:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Saturday and we are closed Sundays. Please call before you come to make sure that we have berries on hand. This is especially important now at the beginning of the season. Our phone # is 563-422-3716.
We have vine ripened tomatoes and cucumbers ready now that we have grown in a greenhouse on the Rawson Berries farm.
We have a booth at the West Union Farmers Market on Tuesdays and Fridays and we plan to start at the Winneshiek County Farmers Market soon which will be Wednesdays and Saturdays.
You can also pick up produce from our farm at Annie's Gardens north of West Union.

Our prices are as follows:
Strawberries u-pick ----------$1.15 /lb
Strawberries picked---------- $2.30/lb
Peas u-pick-------------------$1.15/lb
Peas picked ------------------ $2.30/lb
Tomatoes -------------------- $2.50/lb
Cucumbers -------------------$1.75 ea.

The strawberries are looking good. They have plenty of moisture and need some sunshine and warm weather to hurry them up.

Exciting news

We have sold our building site and berry and vegetable business to Randy and Rosalie Koehn. They have previously been growing produce in Minnesota and so come with experience. They will be continuing with what we have done plus adding some new things. They are young and full of energy and enthusiasm. The phone # will remain the same. When you come to the farm you will probably see us there as we will be working with the Koehns during the transition. We thank you all for the support and business you have given us the last 25 years. It has been great but the time has come when we feel it is time for us to be making a change. Again a big THANK YOU.
